You may as well use the third party code for your .htaccess that HiFiKabin posted. I was doing one here and another there and everyday it was something else, I’ve not had to touch anything since using it.
Unfortunately yes, that’s why we have to take such steps to try and be one step ahead of them, it’s a never ending process.. . . usual get like 300 guests on site after 30 minutes?
