One of the primary reasons for wanting to add a forum to my website is to have a gallery where users can post images and view others' images. I searched here and found phpBB Gallery Extension. I want to install it on my localhost forum and test it out. Can I do this on a localhost or does it have to be hosted on the web to work?
I've had difficulty finding where to download the extension. I must be as dumb as a box of hammers because I can't find a page that has a download button. After searching, I discovered that it is posted on Github. I went to Github, logged in, found the extension but cannot figure out how to download it. Can anyone point me to instructions for downloading the extension from GitHub?
I read the "Known issues" and found this: MSSQL is not ok. I don't have a MSSQL instance to test different functions. If you want to use with MSSQL - we can debug and do stuff. MSSQL is my database engine on my localhost. Does this mean that I can't use this extension? (I don't think I'm technically proficient enough to install a different database, but if I were, what does phpBB Gallery need?
